Founder, Experience and Tour Lead

Siddharth Das

(aka Sidi)

Sidi’s passion for motorcycles began at a young age, earning him a reputation within the local riding community for his meticulously maintained machines and relentless enthusiasm for life on two wheels.

His riding journey started aboard Royal Enfields during his school years, taking him across the length and breadth of India. Later, while studying in New Zealand, he continued exploring the open road on a variety of motorcycles — including BMW, Honda, and Moto Guzzi machines — broadening both his riding experience and perspective on motorcycle travel.

His understanding of what makes a truly memorable riding experience was further shaped through his time with Triumph Motorcycles and BMW Motorrad, where he gained valuable insight into rider expectations, community building, and premium motorcycle experiences. It was during this period that he realised he had the experience, knowledge, and the vision to create a unique product — and Throttle Out was born.

Today, Sidi personally leads every Throttle Out departure. His commitment goes far beyond route planning and logistics; he is deeply invested in ensuring every rider enjoys a journey that is seamless, memorable, and genuinely personal. A motorcycle fanatic, Sidi can happily spend hours discussing bikes, roads, and adventures — and he remains committed to delivering the kind of experiences he would seek out as a motorcycle enthusiast himself.

Operations & Logistics

Saurabh Das

(aka SD)

Saurabh is a seasoned adventure rider and the operational support pillar of this venture. With 25 years of riding experience under his belt, Saurabh’s journey began on his father’s cherished Lambretta 150. What started as a mere daily commute swiftly evolved into a lifelong passion for motorcycles.

SD loves his long-distance adventure rides, and also his coffee and burger runs. Trained in hospitality with an innate attention to detail, he brings a unique blend of operational focus, people management skills, and project management expertise to the team. A firm believer in planning for the worst-case scenario — ensuring meticulous preparation for every single ride.

Someone who loves to ride with like-minded travellers, SD will never say no to a chai and a warm meal by the roadside — which obviously tastes much better after a nice, hard ride.

Having clocked miles across India, Nepal, Bhutan, UAE, and Oman, SD currently rides a Yamaha Ténéré 700.
